After 7 rounds of golf it came down to the final green and the final putt for Brett, Rich and Shane.  The Wobbly Fat Man was there for the taking as Shane started the day with a 6 point lead over Brett.  Shane showed true grit and did NOT succumb to the pressure by shooting an even par 36 points.  He was visibly shaking when standing over his final par putt... an 11 foot downhill left to righter.   With the grit of a wiley veteran, the American slammed in the putt and shouted for joy, knowing he had a shot on the hole and 3 points.    However, Brett pulled out his best Tiger impersonation and shot a career-high 42 points that included 4 birdies and an eagle on a par 4!  After watching Shane drain his putt, the two-time Bda Tour winner snuck in a downhill left to right 6 footer to halve the Stableford contest.   Since the Stableford points were tied, the tie-breaker rule in place for 3 years was used to determine the winner.  The discarded round was then counted and Brett prevailed with a +10 round over Shane's +12 round.

A heroic effort by Rich in the inaugral Match Play event saw him come back from 3 down to end the match all square with Shane.  Since no tie-breaker rule was in effect for the new Match Play plate, Shane and Rich agreed to share the plate for 6 months each.
